Todd Cothran

Pastor

Todd and his family (wife Renee and four children) moved to Charlottesville in 2012 to “replant” Alliance Bible Church, now known as CrossLife, a part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination. He formerly served as an associate pastor and elder at Front Range Alliance Church in Colorado Springs. Before that (1996–2008), he worked at Summit Ministries in Manitou Springs, Colorado, where he directed the ministry’s Christian leadership program for college-bound students and, later, the curriculum department. Todd holds an MA from Biola University and has completed work toward an M.Div. from Alliance Theological Seminary.


 

Chuck Cole

Elder

Married to Robin, father of Kendall, Trent and Georgia. Moved with his family to the Crozet area in 2004 and has worked as a self-employed "headhunter" since 2000. Enjoys the outdoors and short term mission trips and really good ice cream. Prays that the body of Christ will utilize her full potential in proclaiming the gospel of God's Kingdom to all people groups.


 

Charles Dumaresq

Elder

Charles Dumaresq is an elder at CrossLife Community Church with a passion for apologetics and teaching/mentoring young people. He holds an MA from Trinity Theological Seminary in Indiana, where he concentrated his studies in New Testament history and biblical archaeology. He also studied these areas at Dallas Theological Seminary and Associates for Biblical Research. He served 17 years in vocational pastoral ministry before transitioning to an insurance career. He and his wife, Susan, have four daughters and live in Free Union, VA.


 

Steve Forister

Elder

Steve Forister is a teacher and elder at CrossLife Community Church, where he leads the youth Sunday School class. For years, he served full time with a short-term missions organization to Latin America and U.S. inner cities, and he has spoken on various topics at many youth retreats and adult conferences. Today, he works in the high-tech industry and serves on the board of Pour International, a Christian ministry serving the impoverished, AIDS-ravaged country of Swaziland, Africa. He and his wife, Peri, are raising five children and live in Charlottesville.
