Community Initiatives

These partnerships and initiatives are based out of or closely related to CrossLife Community Church and reflect our heart to serve our community in areas we see a need and have the resources to offer help.

After School Care
Parents want to feel sure that their children have a safe and convenient place to go after school when they have to work. CrossLife is offering an affordable after-school program for families in our community. Children ages 5–12 will have time to work on homework, eat a snack, and play. Learn More

Community Christian Academy
While not officially connected with CrossLife, we believe strongly in CCA and enjoy a strong partnership with this outstanding Christian school. We gladly share our CrossLife facility with them and encourage you to find out more about this wonderful school. Learn More

Think Well Conference
As they prepare for high school, college, and adulthood, Christian teens need to be prepared to "contend for the faith," first in their own hearts, and then in their families, peer circles, schools, workplaces, and the public square. We need a revival of both hearts and minds within the next generation. We need today's teens to be able to think well and deeply about their faith, to know what they believe, why they believe it, and how to integrate their faith with every aspect of their lives. The Think Well Conference was established with those goals in mind. Learn More

Local Missions

Our aim in these partnerships is to expand God’s Kingdom, love people, and glorify Christ. Opportunities for service to Charlottesville in the name of Jesus are endless. CrossLife Community Church is excited to partner with local organizations who are passionate and have a proven track-record of making a positive impact on people's lives.

Love INC.
Love in the Name of Christ brings churches in the community together across denominational lines, inventories the collective ministries and talents of the people of those congregations and then matches those resources with people in need. Learn More

Pregnancy Centers of Central VA
The Pregnancy Centers of Central Virginia is a life-affirming ministry committed to: hope, help, health and healing for  women, men and their families facing issues of unintended pregnancy. Learn More

Redemptive Compassion
Love INC believes that rather than sustaining people in need, we desire to help them reach their full potential in Christ. The danger of pure charity is we can meet a need but ignore the person. Is it enough to meet a specific need but leave the person living in a state of need? Redemptive Compassion grew out of the understanding that the answer this question is no. Learn More

Global Missions

We are committed to partnering with mission organizations and individual missionaries throughout the world who are passionate about proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and helping people follow Him as His disciple. Over 20% of our annual budget is dedicated to global missions with a desire to increase that percentage yearly.

We work primarily through the Christian and Missionary Alliance and Advancing Native Missions to support worldwide evangelistic work. We have not listed individuals and families we support due to the sensitive locations which many of our international workers are located.

The Alliance (Christian & Missionary Alliance)
Our denomination is part of a Christ-centered, global movement more than six million strong. Our Acts 1:8 family—inspired by Jesus’ love and empowered by His Spirit—is passionate to bring the good news about Him to our neighborhoods and world. Learn More

Advancing Native Missions
We have a strong relationship with Advancing Native Missions and desire to build gospel-centered partnerships with the indigenous missionaries who ANM has identified as ones who are serious about advancing the Kingdom among their people group. Learn More
