Mission + Vision

Go therefore and make disciples…

The Mission

Our mission at CrossLife is to be disciples who make disciples — people who are grounded in the Word, empowered by the Spirit, who go into the world both locally and globally, confident that the good news of God's grace can transform people’s lives.

The Vision

We desire to exalt Jesus by helping people know Him and follow Him with all their being. In short, we want to help people love God, love others, and love our world.

Our Values

  1. The inspiration, inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture. (2 Tim 3:16-17)

  2. The expositional teaching and preaching of the whole counsel of God. (Acts 20:27)

  3. The shepherding of God’s people by elders. (Acts 14:23; 15:2,4,22; Titus 1:5-9; Jam. 5:14)

  4. The participation of each believer in the exercise of their spiritual gifting, for the overall strengthening of the body of Christ. (1 Cor 12:4-7)

  5. The equipping and training of the believers in our congregation for the work of ministry. (Eph. 2:10; 4:11-16)

  6. The encouragement of every believer to be actively involved in personal evangelism and supportive of our missions outreach. (Mat 9:37- 38; Lk 10:2; Jh 4:34-38; Mat 28:19:20, Rom. 10:14-15)

  7. The practice of God–centered, believer–oriented worship on the Lord’s day. (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 16:2; Heb. 10:25; Rev. 1:10)

  8. The necessity of corporate and private prayer for all things. (Mat 6:6; 26:41; Acts 1:24; 4:31; 6:6; 20:36; 1 Thess. 5:17; 2 Thess. 1:11; Jam. 5:16)

  9. The church-wide commitment of teaching and training disciples. (Mat 28:19:20; 2 Tim. 2:1-2 [men]; 2 Tim 3:17; Titus 2:3-5 (older women]; Eph 6:4 [fathers])

  10. The consistent and faithful proclamation of The Gospel: i.e. salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. (Rom. 3:23-24; 1 Cor. 9:16; 15:1-4; Eph 2:8-9; Gal 1:8 2 Cor 5:21)
