The Alliance:
A Christ-centered, Acts 1:8 Family
Then & Now
The Christian & Missionary Alliance (The Alliance) grew out of the vision of Rev. A.B. Simpson, a Presbyterian pastor from Canada. Simpson believed that Christ was not only his Savior, but also his Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King through dramatic spiritual encounters that changed the direction of his life.
Formed as a missionary society and not a denomination, early Alliance congregations were known as “branches” and were made up of members from most major denominations. Find out more about those early years where the movement began and where The Alliance is heading.
Expanding the vision...
Together as a Christ-centered, Acts 1:8 family,
we will Love, Proclaim, Reach, and Launch.

Alliance Ministries
As Jesus’ love transforms us, we are compelled to share His healing love with our neighbors. Alliance ministries show best how we share the practical message of Christ’s love with the marginalized, the poor, the wounded, and the sick at home and around the world.
